Everyone here is the photo of Lincoln :)

Photos of Lincoln found!
The second LA show was outstanding and Zoe Keating added just the right touch. We'll never view symmetry in quite the same way. (That was quite a looooong line to gaze into the symmetry mirror)
BTW, we missed out on the Wednesday Radiolab tickets and jumped on the Thursday show as soon as we heard the announcement, so we REALLY sympathize with those pleading for a second Seattle show. I suspect Radiolab is more popular that you may know.
I cannot find the Lincoln photo either. Did the suggestion - find a Lincoln photo, put into photoshop and flip the image. I was not as put-off as the audience. Perhaps because I am a lefty???
same here where is lincoln's part image?
page not found...still looking for Lincoln's hair part image.
Lincoln Mirror Image: http://www.radiolab.org/2011/apr/19/mirror-mirror/
i love the Internet:
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_is_Abraham_Lincoln's_hair_parted_on_the_left_in_The_Lincoln_Memorial_and_on_the_right_on_the_5_bill
turns out its not a mirror image - the little bump he has in his right cheek is on the right side in all his photos, left part or right part, so they did actually part his hair on the right for just the photo session listed above and by accident, the 5 dollar bill engraving. go figure :)
check out a 5 dollar bill...guess what - it looks like it's a flipped image - Lincoln's hair part is on the right. If you hold up the 5 dollar bill to a mirror, you see it on the left and he looks much more normal. The question is, why did they flip him in the first place?
I copied the Lincoln photos for the Facebook-avoiders. Get your photos here. http://bit.ly/enmRgT Maybe it's because I'm mostly ambidextrous, but I didn't really see the difference the audience seemed to respond to in the show.
what about twins?
I'm listening to Symmetry as a repeat on WNYC and looking here there are STILL none of the promised photos. And, there are now several notes from other deprived listeners. So, what gives? You don't care? Kinda looks like it...
Photos too much grief to find. Guess I'll just enjoy the radio show. Too much trouble messing around online. Great show guys -- and gals.
I too would like to see the ABE Lincoln
photos, as Radiolab promised. But I don't do facebook, so what's to be done in that case?
You can see the Abe Lincoln pics on the Radiolab facebook page.
I couldn't find it, so instead I did this: google Lincoln's photos, download any well-known pic to your "My Pictures" folder, open the photo for editing and "flip horizontal."
He looks....weird.
Yes, please let us know where the Abe pix are. It was a fascinating show!
where are the abe pics?????
Where are the dam Araham Lincoln photos!?
can't find the asymmetric photos of lincoln...????
Pix?
No pictures of symmetry anywhere to be found...and clearly I'm not the only one who can't find them.
Where are the pictures of the Hair Part on Abraham Lincoln???
Where are the Araham Lincoln photos?
I can't find the Lincoln photos either.
Would love to see those pictures of Abraham Lincoln. Where are they?
I've been looking all over the website. Where are these pictures?
So great seeing Jad and Robert live. A well put together show! Thanks so much. This was the highlight of my month! Please tour here again and keep podcasts coming!
That was fun. Thanks Radiolab!
I have an extra ticket for Seattle tonight. 206-605-6893 if you want it.
Any shows coming to the midwest? Chicago, Nashville, Cinci....
The show last night at the Brava Theater in SF was amazing! I am a huge fan (carrying my radio lab tote around proudly) and am thrilled to have seen the show live! Zoe was incredible! Thank you so much for the excellent show!
http://afellow-fellow.blogspot.com/2011/03/explanation-of-everything.html
I think I have defined the known universe.
I was listening to your show when I started to have the cascade of ideas...
melinna, the SF show is tomorrow (Sunday) night. You've probably missed your chance. Maybe craigslist?
come to Chicago!
I had the very great pleasure of being at Royce Hall last night. Wonderful show! BUT, when demonstrating the importance of which side the hair is parted on, you used the image of Abraham Lincoln and simply flipped it. This brought a startled reaction - amazing. However, what you had shown us was what Lincoln would have seen in the mirror. A bit of digital manipulation to change the hair part to the other side was what was called for. What do you think?
Thanks so much for the wonderfully thought provoking shows you do.
All the best,
Marge
Just saw the LA show - awesome! It's so weird to see you guys live. And Zoë was amazing as expected.
if you want to see the real LA here it is:

You guys are fu#@ing monsters!
On the subject of symmetry, you might consider exploring the issue through "mirror image" identical twins. I have a good friend who is one-- his hair parts one way and his brother's parts the other (apropos the episode), he is right handed and his brother left-handed, etc.
Please come to San Francisco or the Bay Area....
PLEASE consider doing a second show in Seattle. I am a huge fan!
oh...for the 4 tickets...contact me at patty@machinehead.com
I have 4 amazing 12th row/center tickets for Thursday night show. anyone interested?
ticket price was $50. let me know. thanks
Another show in Seattle please!
Hi! I have an extra ticket to see Radiolab live at UCLA this Wednesday and none of my friends are available!
If you're a fan of the show, email me and maybe we can go together. Nothing skeezy, no strings attached. Just would love to share this with someone who is also a big fan of the show. Of course it'd also be nice to meet someone new as well.
My favorite episodes: musical language, and animal language
Email: patrick@heypscott.com
Seatttttlle!
Please consider another showing in Seattle for all us people in Oregon who will travel to Seattle just to see Radio Lab.
How much earlier than the time on the ticket should I get to the LA show?
Not only am I *begging* for another Seattle show, I'm willing to help find a venue! We can seat about 500-600 people...
Please add another Seattle show!
Congratulations on a beautiful show last night. My fiancé had a suggestion: make a t-shirt out of the one lonely electron that survives annihilation. He would make an adorable and meaningful mascot for Radiolab (in addition, of course, to the classic goat-cow).
Cheers!
What about Philadelphia??
Yes, please, Seattle more shows!
Adding one more plea -- add another Seattle show please! :)
Second show in Seattle Please! We may not be as big as LA, but I bet we have more NPR listeners!
Ah! i'd love to go! But why are the ticket prices so expensive??
What happened to spreading the knowledge and information. Tickets shouldn't cost more than 5$ (tops!).
We west coast folk operate on an admittedly skewed time frame. If you say be there at 9am, we'll be there by 9:30am. If you post a show date for March 30th, we'll start considering it perhaps a week or two before. It's a social, cultural anomaly.
That said, I second the motion for a second show and a second chance in Seattle!
another seattle show please ∞
Please add another Seattle show!!!!!
Please add another showing in Seattle!!
Another vote for Radiolab in San Francisco! or better yet, Ber(ser)keley!!! :)
Seattle++!
Please one more show for the east coast!!! I'll go anywhere in EST to gaze upon radio lab with my own eyes.
More Seattle shows PLEASE!!
PLEASE add a second Seattle show!
Zoe Keating and Radiolab?! *swoons*
Another show in Seattle please!!!
While you're at it... please come to Michigan. Really, please.
Yes, agree with the many other folks in Seattle ... please add another show.
Yay! RadioLab's coming to UCLA!!!
SOLD OUT??? I vote YES for a second Seattle show. Pretty Please???
Forget a second show in Seattle - do a first show in Portland! It's just down the road...
Second Show Seattle! Second Show Seattle!
Turn this emoticon around! :-(
I Second (third? fourth? two-hundredth?) the motion to add a second show in Seattle. It's only fair! Plus, Seattle is an awesome place to hang out for an extra day
Please, please, puhleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaase add a second show to Seattle. I am so hooked on Radiolab, and I am converting al my tech-geek friends to radio listeners (well, Radiolab listeners) ;-)
I did get tickets for the Seattle show, but I echo the requests to add another one. There are so many people I was hoping to recommend this live show to... Seattle is the unequivocal mecca for navel gazers with over-sized brains. You can stay and do an extra show at my 900 sq.ft. apartment if you get desperate... but you will definitely sell out an extra show!
Add another Seattle Show please!
You must be insane for coming to LA but not San Francisco!
I've been listening for years, and naturally when there's a show in the NW, tickets are gone in the speed of light. I do not stand alone when i beg, beg, BEG(!!!) for a second Seattle show. We love Jad, Robert and the entire RadioLab crew and y'all need another night in Seatown so we can show how we do it up in the NW. Just sayin'..... ;)
Please add another Seattle show! Please, please, please!
3rd the Denver motion!!! (or better yet, Colorado Springs).
Long time listener, love the show, guys. Wow you two look so different than I imagined. :)
Just signed up for Carbonite with your promo code. Keep up the great work!
I would love to see the show in Portland or even drive up to Seattle to see it! Add another show!
Another vote for a 2nd Seattle show!!
please! please stay on for another day in seattle! if you need a place to stay or something, we've got an extra room.
I vote for another show in Seattle, too!!!
Went online to buy my Radiolab live tickets today March 3rd and Seattle show is sold out. Would love it if a second show was added.
I also request a 2nd show in Seattle. PLEASE!
second show in seattle please!
Hello!?!?? Portland is just a short trip down I-5 and we are hard core public radio supporters!
Or just add another Seattle show because I would totally drive up to see the show live! Absolutely love the show and find it incredibly inspiring! Keep it up!
Yes, please have another show in Seattle! I'm visiting friends out in the Pacific NW and I was bummed when I saw the Seattle show was sold out.
My heart is broken! I've been listening for years and would love to be at this event! Please, stay in Seattle for one more day!
I also have to ask why no shows in SF? The fourth largest radio market in the US, a huge supporter of public radio, and you're going right past? What's up with that?
The order, the symmetry... the CHAOS: Oh my!
2:2:1
Dear Radio Lab, please, please balance out this ratio. Another vote for a second Seattle show!
Aw man, the LA shows are during our spring break! I got really excited about the shows in our very own Royce Hall until I realized that campus will be a ghost town while you're here. I'd love it if you stuck around til the next week!
Since you're doing two night's in NY and LA, you need to add another night in Seattle for your tour to be symmetrical.
Please please please add another Seattle show!
Another Seattle show please please please.
Robert and Jad, you'll love Seattle so much that you'll really be glad you decided to stay another night for a second Seattle performance. I'll put you up and make you dinner too...
Oh no! Please add another show to your Seattle stop!! Tickets are sold out
Please come and do a show in Houston! The ones you are doing in LA are on a school day, so there is only a 65% chance I will get to come and I have dreamed about seeing you guys live for years!! Come to Houston, Texas!
We need more Seattle! Please please please please!
Please, pretty please add a second Seattle show! I just found out about this event and it's already sold out.
I so want to give my father-in-law tickets to this for his birthday, he would love it. I'll be keeping an eye out for an added show!!
So looking forward to the LA show - a listener from my own weekly podcast 'The Because Show' tipped me off to Radiolab a few months ago and I immediately became hooked. I love the stories have a extra layer of production value, not just straight narrative. Keep up the good work!
Oh please oh please, another Seattle show! :)
Another request for another Seattle show! We'll drive all the way from Portland for it! :)
Please add another Seattle show!
Please, please, do another show. A friend turned me on to the show and have been hooked ever since. I wanted to surprise her with tickets and be the coolest guy in the universe. Another show in Seattle, Please!!!
2nd show in Seattle, please!!!
Me and my boyfriend need to see this show in Seattle for the life of us :'( Please peez peez add another show! I'll even bake cookies with lots of radio lab love!
Seattle is sold out :-(. Please add another show!
i'm incredibly devastated about the seattle show. please, please do another night. i'll personally invite 500 people to make it worth your time. okay, i'm really not that popular, but-- jad and robert, radiolab is my favourite podcast of all time and i am desperate for a chance to see you live. please consider.
please please please... another show in Seattle!!!
Another Seattle show please! I am so bummed that I may miss this, please, please, please do another show.
Found out about this yesterday listening to a podcast. But the Seattle show is sold out, even though it says here that there are still tickets. :(
So, another vote for another night in Seattle!
Another request for another night in Seattle
As long as you're going to be on this coast, please come to SF (it's in between LA and Seatlle)
I was really hoping to come to this for my birthday, but I was too slow if in getting tickets. Please add another performance.
Seattle show sold out more than a month in advance :( Please add another night!
Since the Seattle show is sold out, any chance that you'll add a second night?
Woot woot! UCLA!! Can't wait to see you guys in SoCal!!
Please add another Seattle show! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! :))))
Welcome to L.A. Hope you have a good time.
Two shows in LA and none in San Fran???
I second and third the request for another show in Seattle. Only seats in the back row of the back balcony remain for March 30th. Please consider :).
Ok guys, you've got two shows in NY and two in LA. Now how about adding another show in Seattle? Pretty please. Your venue here is in between productions and can very likely accommodate you. I checked :-)
What a treat!!! I am soooo excited!
The LA show is not showing up on ticketmaster :(
The links are not working???
I love your show, but I became cross with you guys during your "Stochasticity" show.
You suggested that no one cares about ice hockey.
Well I'm from Vancouver, BC and I am taking upon myself the position of spokesperson for Canada.
All 30 million of us (except for my friend, Jon) care deeply about hockey. Can't say the same for baseball, or basketbal lor football.
Any chance of a second show for late Seattle fans?
Get your arses to Australia. I can see it, a red carpet Sydney Opera House event...?
Please, please, please consider doing a live show broadcast nationwide (for those of us in the provinces).
--A rabid fan in Tucson
Any plans for an upcoming DC trip?
I would like to second the Denver motion
