Dancing on the Radio

Tuesday, August 21, 2012

We love working with Pilobolus--they're a brain-bending dance troupe that makes for a rockstar team of collaborators. We're so pumped to be working with them for our live show In the Dark -- they're wildly creative, totally mischievous, and amazingly acrobatic forces of nature. You don't want miss them in action -- grab tickets now for our shows in Seattle on 8/24 and 8/25.

We first encountered Pilobolus when we stumbled across an interactive music video they did with OK Go -- it's called "All Is Not Lost," and it's crazy fun. You need to open it in Chrome in order to get the full effect... but without giving too much away, here's a message card generated from the video (now go try it yourself!):

And in case you're still not convinced, here's a video version so you can take a peek before getting interactive:

In The Dark was a ton of fun. I have to say that my highlight was the chance meet of the dancers after the show. My wife and I ended up in the same resturant as them so we were able to thank them for the entertainment in person. Thanks again to Evan, Anica, Edwin, and Rob!
