Mornings Are Tougher Without a Name

Wednesday, April 03, 2013 - 08:30 AM

Look who we spotted grabbing a cup of coffee this morning. We would've said hi, but it's kind of awkward...we still don't know this critter's name. Help us out -- vote now and let us know who you'd rather wake up to: Schrëwdinger or Mancestor.

If you can't see the survey below, you can vote here.

Wondering who this furry creature is and why it has no name? Get the backstory here.

However, Shrewdinger also implies an appropriate degree of phylogenetic uncertainty. (Which I like.)

I can't believe that Grandmammal got sunk! It is so clearly the right name! Mancestor is too gender-specific in implication and Shrewdinger refers to physics. :(
